Jubilate VI last night was awesome. It was one of the best I've ever been to; I guess it's because as I grow older I...just mature in a way that I learn to enjoy myself even without my friends.
So, last night, was my...4th or 5th date with Mummy Leong (: It was fun with her, because, after the interval, we began making fun of every little possible thing!
Everything I wore last night were all borrowed, from the simple straight cut dress I wore down to the shiny, tight pumps I had to strut in. I managed to match my new pair of earrings with the navy blue dress. Yeah, I can proudly call myself a true blue narcissist because I swear I fell in love with myself yesterday evening XD
Alright, enough about me. And no I'm not a narcissist, c'mon!
Let's digress a bit...
Which do you prefer? I still prefer the original one. Sorry for the lousy quality there, I can't be bothered to find a better one.
I think the best performance last night was by dance, the Ma Jie's set, and also by their Symphonic Band. And comparing the English drama and their Chinese Cultural Society's, I would say the Chinese one was much better, less dramatic, more realistic. I noticed that ELDDS usually has more abstract meaning to their plays, and they're not very often local. Now I get what Ms Gasper means by "Local Flavour", and all along I didn't think it was that powerful.
You did an awesome job last night, Mae. An A* for your extra credit with your booty shaking too!
